# Create your first alarm

You need the Solana contract address for the token you want to track.

1. Open **Home** in the Warhorn app.
2. Paste the token's contract address.
3. Wait for Warhorn to load the token details and current market cap.
4. Choose whether to track a move **above** or **below** the current market cap.
5. Enter the target market cap. You can use values such as `50K`, `2M`, or `1.5B`.
6. Review the token, direction, and target.
7. Select **Set alarm**.

The target must be above the current market cap for an "above" alarm and below it for a "below" alarm.

Your new alarm appears under **Alarms**. It remains active until its target is crossed or you delete it.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Verify the contract address before creating the alarm. Token names and symbols are not unique.
